The Pike County Probation Office is proud to announce that Senior Probation Officers Andrew King and Jennifer Janovsky have successfully completed the 40-hour Carbon-Monroe Pike Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training on September 12, 2025.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for our agency, as a majority of our Probation Officers have now received this critical training. The CIT program is designed to equip law enforcement and first responders with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively respond to individuals in crisis, ensuring a safer and more compassionate approach to community policing.
The training sessions concluded on September 12, 2025, and brought together a diverse group of participants, including members of the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Blooming-Grove and local fire/EMS agencies. This collaborative effort demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest level of service to our community.
We congratulate Senior Probation Officers King and Janovsky on their accomplishment and recognize the dedication of all participants who have completed this rigorous training program.
