Before you consider lighting your own, make sure you're familiar with the Pennsylvania Fireworks Laws — violations can result in fines or prosecution.

Fireworks CANNOT be:

• Ignited within 150 feet (50 yards) of any occupied structure – very few Lansdale properties meet this requirement

• Used on public or private property without the owner’s permission

• Discharged from or within a vehicle or building

• Aimed at a building or vehicle

• Used while under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Fireworks are strictly PROHIBITED on Borough streets, sidewalks, parks, or other Borough-owned property.
