During snow alerts there is a potential for more vehicles than available spaces, so the Borough heard resident feedback and has worked with SEPTA for use of the garage during winter storms.  If no legal, on-street parking is available for residents during an alert, FREE parking will be available in the SEPTA garage.  This parking will be on a first come, first served basis and is only available for use during Snow Alerts and twenty-four hours after the alert is lifted.  Please note that the bridge is open for public use; however, the elevator is not currently operating.  

SEPTA has allowed us the use of the garage for the impending storm, so residents may park vehicles in the garage starting at 6am on Thursday, February 18 when the Snow Alert goes into effect.  We are afforded this opportunity based on permission from SEPTA so we ask that those who do use the garage during alerts follow all garage rules and regulations so that we can continue utilizing the garage.

Staff from both SEPTA and the Borough have expedited this process so that our residents will have use of the garage for the upcoming storm.  Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen in a short period of time
