On Monday, January 19, 2026, at 6:25 PM, the Stroud Area Regional Police Department was dispatched to Home Depot, 150 Pocono Commons Dr, Stroud Township for a report of a retail theft. During the investigation it was learned that a single male actor to pushed out a cart with a large quantity of merchandise. The suspect was stopped by loss prevention and all merchandise was recovered. The suspect then fled in a black sedan with heavy tinted windows. The suspect acted alone and was last seen leaving the store at 4:56 PM with a last known direction of travel being on Pocono Commons Dr toward N 9th St. The registration displayed on the vehicle does not belong to that vehicle.

The Stroud Area Regional Police Department is asking for community assistance in identifying the suspect pictured above. 

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to "Submit a tip". All tipsters can remain anonymous or leave contact information for the investigating officer. 

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. These are merely accusations of a crime.
