LRPD IACP Survey Volunteer Sign‑Up
In today’s quickly evolving landscape, the policing profession needs timely insights that can guide decision-making, strengthen community trust, and identify emerging issues. To meet this need, the Lycoming Regional Police Department is proud to partner with the International Association of Chiefs of Police to implement the RAPID survey, designed to capture real-time perspectives from community members in a simple, accessible way.
Resident and Police Insights and Data (RAPID):Community offers members of the public a voice in shaping public safety. RAPID: Community is a text-based, quick-response survey that invites community members to share feedback on their local police departments and the field of policing more broadly. All responses are confidential. To implement RAPID: Community, the police department is recruiting a panel of community participants. Participants will receive a brief text message each week. Each message contains a multiple-choice question about safety, trust, perceptions of police, or other agency-defined topics. Community members simply reply with a number from 1 to 5, indicating how much they agree or disagree with the statement presented.
Through an easy, quick process, RAPID: Community lowers barriers for community members to share their thoughts and helps deliver authentic, real-time feedback to police leaders.
