Yesterday morning Lycoming Regional Police Department (LRPD) officers responded swiftly after finding heavy smoke on S. Rt. 44. They located the source of the smoke and evacuated residents from a home where a garage fire was actively burning.

Thanks to the vigilance and fast action of LRPD officers, serious damage and potential loss of life were prevented.
