On 06/24/26, NEU conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on the 400 block of East 3rd St in the City of Williamsport, Lycoming County. The vehicle was just involved in a crack cocaine transaction. William "BJ" ADAMS was the front seat passenger and exited the vehicle for questioning about his involvement in the transaction. While talking to ADAMS, detectives watched him chew and swallow a small amount of crack cocaine. He was also found to be in possession of a crack pipe. ADAMS eventually admitted that he swallowed the crack cocaine.
