On March 20th, 2026 at approximately 2:30am, Upper Saucon Township police officers were dispatched to the 5300 block of Red Oak Drive for suspicious activity in progress. The caller stated that they could see a male attempting to break into multiple vehicles in the area.
Officers arrived on scene within 4 minutes of the dispatch and located a vehicle fleeing the scene. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the males inside were identified. One of the males had warrants for his arrest out of the city of Allentown. That male was taken into custody on his warrants and transported to Lehigh County Jail. It did not appear that the male took anything of value as both his person and vehicle were searched.
Officers returned to the area to find several vehicles that were left unlocked over night by the vehicle owners. This post should serve as a reminder to PLEASE lock all of your vehicles and do NOT ever leave anything of value in your vehicle. If you may have been affected by this incident, please reach out to the Upper Saucon Police department at 610-282-3064 and request to speak with Officer Della Sala.
