UPCOMING TRAFFIC ALERT FOR ROUTE 222 - ROAD CLOSING TODAY AT NOON!

A construction company doing work in a neighborhood near Route 222 in Manheim Township is doing a planned explosives blasting detail today (8/25/2021) at 12:00 p.m.  As a result, all traffic travelling along Route 222 (both northbound and southbound) will need to be halted for approximately 10 minutes, to ensure no persons are injured from falling debris.  Please be patient with the emergency crews who will be halting traffic, and know that they will open the road as soon as it is safe to do so.

Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes of travel during the lunchtime hour, or expect delays while travelling this roadway at this time.
