On Saturday afternoon / evening, the Manheim Township Police Department hosted our public 1000lbs Club Challenge at Universal Athletic Club and it exceeded every expectation.
First and foremost, thank you to Universal Athletic Club for opening your doors and supporting this event from start to finish. Your professionalism, hospitality, and commitment to the fitness community made this possible.
The results:
21 men earned their place in the 1000lbs Club.
8 participants joined the 750lbs Club.
2 women and 1 man earned their place in the 500lbs Club.
The top three totals of the night were nothing short of extraordinary:
1500 lbs — 18-year-old Manheim Township’s own Taylor Veilleux
1405 lbs — Bryan Martin, 49 years old
1345 lbs — Nic Miller, 27 years old
These performances reflect discipline, preparation, and serious hard work.
As far as we can determine, Manheim Township Police Department is the first police department in the country to host a public 1000lbs Club Challenge. That makes every participant part of something truly ground-breaking.
Thank you to every lifter who stepped up to the bar.
Thank you to the families and supporters who filled the room with energy.
And thank you again to Universal Athletic Club for being an outstanding partner.
We’ll be doing it again. Start stretching now.
