BE SURE TO TUNE IN!

As part of the Manheim Township Police Department’s community outreach initiative, Chief Rudzinski and Lieutenant Piacentino were recent guests on WLCH 91.3 FM’s Usted, y Su Familia, hosted by Manheim Township Police Advisory Committee Member Celso Mesias.  For 30 minutes, the Chief and the Lieutenant answered questions from Mesias pertaining to the police department’s goals, mission, successes, and challenges.  Specific and difficult topics included use of force, public perception of police, diversity, and ways the department has sought to overcome difficulties in these fields.  Chief Rudzinski noted “it was a pleasure to be a guest on Celso’s show.  It provided us with a unique opportunity to speak with an entire portion of our community, without a different spoken language being an obstacle to our communication.  We hope to be able to return to Celso’s show, to continue our open dialogue and dive deeper into our meaningful conversation.”
