Aggravated Assault, Disorderly Conduct Arrest, October 10, 2026, Lititz Pk and York Rd (MT) – Casandra Lee Smith, F/37, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Casandra Smith. She was intoxicated as her speech was heavily slurred, her eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and she smelled strongly of alcoholic beverages. She made repeated attempts to exit the vehicle when instructed to remain inside. She was ultimately detained in handcuffs. While detained on the side of the road, Smith began screaming for help. She was warned that if she didn’t stop yelling, she would be arrested for disorderly conduct. She continued screaming. Smith was escorted to the police cruiser, where she went unresponsive, resulting in EMS being summoned. Once EMS arrived and lifted her, she became alert. She became combative while attempts were being made to restrain her. She swung and struck an officer on the chest with a fist, causing their Body Worn Camera to be knocked to the ground. She continued thrashing, at which time an officer attempted to pin her leg. She was able to free her leg and began kicking at officers, striking a hand and a knee of officers. She was wearing knee-high stiletto heels. 

A criminal complaint was filed on October 10, 2026.  Casandra Lee Smith was arraigned before MDJ Monson and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
