DUI-General Impairment, DUI-High Rate of Alcohol Arrest, October 17, 2026, Waverly Ave at Cobblestone Ln (MT) – Celso A. Mesias, M/68, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop. An officer observed a vehicle weaving into the right shoulder, with half of the vehicle on the shoulder. The officer followed the vehicle and observed it was driving in the middle of the roadway or closer to the opposite side of the street. The vehicle approached an intersection and stopped at the stop sign there. The vehicle turned right with no turn signal activated and weaved over the double yellow line. The officer activated their emergency lights to stop the vehicle. The driver was identified as Celso Mesias. He had a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and had slightly bloodshot and glassy eyes. He admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Celso A. Mesias was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI. He submitted to a breath sample, which indicated a 0.103% blood alcohol content.

A criminal complaint was filed on October 19, 2026.
