Arson and Related Offenses Arrest, September 10, 2026, 900 block of N. Queen St (MT) – Joshua David Levinson, M/46, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a response to a report of a disturbance. The officer was provided a video showing Joshua Levinson starting a fire in a dumpster in the parking lot. The video showed Levinson approaching the dumpster and putting trash into it. He then looked around, turning his head side to side, to check if anyone was around. The video showed him reaching back into the dumpster, then starting to walk away as the trash started to smoke. The smoke turned into a large fire inside the dumpster. The Manheim Township Fire Rescue responded and extinguished the fire. Damage was observed on the roof of a rooming house that was exactly nine feet from the dumpster. The shingles were warped from the heat. The rooming house has multiple people living in it, and they were in the structure during the fire.

A criminal complaint was filed on September 10, 2026.  Joshua David Levinson was arraigned before MDJ Monson and released on $50,000 unsecured bail.
