LITITZ BOROUGH - Today is National Drug Take Back Day. Although today is recognized, the LBPD offers drug take back services on a 24/7 basis - free of charge. The LBPD is a collection site for old and unwanted prescription medications. Please stop by if you have old or unwanted prescription drugs. This is a free service, available 24/7 via a drop box in the LBPD lobby.

What we CAN accept:

• Prescriptions.
• Prescription patches.
• Prescription medications.
• Prescription ointments.
• Over-the-counter medications.
• Vitamin samples .
• Medications for pets.

What we CANNOT accept:

• Hydrogen peroxide.
• Inhalants.
• Aerosol cans.
• Lotions or liquid medications from businesses or clinics.
• Sharps (needles).
• Thermometers.
