LITITZ BOROUGH - National Public Safety Telecommunicators Weeks is April 11-17, 2021.

The LBPD takes this opportunity to express our appreciation to all the dispatchers of Lancaster County-Wide Communications (LCWC). The are truly the first of the first responders who are rarely seen, but always heard. LCWC dispatchers provide an invaluable service to the residents, businesses and visitors of Lititz Borough. The LBPD is thankful for the efforts that LCWC dispatchers put forth to ensure the safety of everyone in Lititz Borough and beyond. 

In 2020, LCWC dispatched a total of 378,598 police, fire and EMS calls, and received 205,229 emergency 911 calls County-wide. For Lititz Borough, LCWC dispatched 6,960 police events, 1,457 EMS events, and 199 fire events.
