LITITZ BOROUGH -  We are now in December, which means colder weather.  Cold temperatures tend to lead to people warming-up their cars before they leave the house.  If you leave your car running with the keys inside, "even for a minute," then you are setting yourself up to walk. This is an opportunity and an invitation for a car thief to steal your car.  If you do not have an auto-start, then you need to stay with your car while it is warming up.

Even if you have an extra key made so that you can lock your car while it warms up, even if the car is in your driveway, you are still creating an opportunity for someone. 

Help prevent vehicle thefts, don't make it easy!
