The LBPD is providing an update from the National Weather Service (NWS) for todays storm.

• Heavy rainfall of 1-3 inches likely Thursday-Thursday night
• Localized urban and poor drainage flooding probable
• Minor flooding possible on small streams and mainstream rivers
• Flood watch in effect for much of Central Pennsylvania

The LBPD strongly urges drivers NOT to drive through standing water on roadways or parking lots. If a road is flooded, do not try to drive through it.
