FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Members of the LBPD were presented with a Distinguished Unit Citation for life-saving efforts.  The presentation was made on 02/28/2020 at the LBPD.

On 02/01/2020 at 9:56 AM, members of the LBPD along with Warwick EMS and Lititz Fire were dispatched for a 49 year-old male who was in cardiac arrest.  LBPD members were on-scene less than two minutes after dispatch and assisted in performing CPR and administering defibration using an AED, resulting in resuscitation of the victim. 

Detective Jevon M. Miller, Officer Samuel R. Habbershon, Officer Tyler S. Weinoldt and Officer Cameron A. Burke/K9 Nicha were each presented with a Distinguished Unit Citation.

The LBPD appreciates the efforts made by the officers along with Warwick EMS and Lititz Fire.
