Local law enforcement officers from across Lancaster County, including the LBPD, will be trading in their patrol duties for serving duties on Wednesday, June 10, as they partner with Funck's Restaurant in Leola for the annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
From 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., officers will be assisting restaurant staff, interacting with guests, and helping raise funds that directly support Special Olympics athletes and programs throughout the region. Every tip and donation collected during the event will help provide year-round sports training, competition opportunities, and life-changing experiences for Special Olympics athletes.
This event is a great opportunity for community members to enjoy a delicious meal while supporting an incredible cause. Guests will have the chance to meet local officers, learn more about Special Olympics, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of athletes who inspire us all through their determination, courage, and perseverance.
The success of Tip-A-Cop depends on community support, and organizers are excited to welcome residents, families, friends, and local businesses for an evening of food, fun, and giving back.
Mark your calendars and join us on June 10 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funck's Restaurant in Leola. Together, we can help make a difference for Special Olympics Pennsylvania and the outstanding athletes it serves.
We hope to see you there!
