An approaching cold front will be preceded by a breezy south wind and scattered rain showers. The passing front could be accompanied by a narrow rain band this afternoon containing localized downpours and gusty winds, and will be followed by a blustery west wind that will persist into this evening.

Leaves and unsecured objects could be blown around, tree limbs could be downed and result in a few power outages, and travel may be difficult for high-profile vehicles.
