LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 03/27/2026 in the 200 Block of North Cedar Street. A Chrysler sedan was traveling northbound when a UPS truck pulled out from East New Street causing the collision. The Chrysler struck the driver's side of the UPS truck, then continued forward and collided with the front porch of a home. The driver of the UPS truck stated he did not see the approaching Chrysler sedan. The Chrysler sustained severe damage and had to be towed. The UPS truck sustained only moderate damage but was able to be driven from the scene. The driver of the Chrysler was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated for neck pain. 

The driver of the UPS truck was cited for a Stop sign violation.
