LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 02/27/2026 at 5:00 PM in the 700 block of South Broad Street. A Chevy Silverado traveling southbound on Broad Street veered off the road, crossing the opposite lane of travel, and into the parking lot of Turkey Hill where it came to a rest after striking a parked vehicle and the front column of the store. It was then determined that the driver had had a medical episode which caused the crash and was then transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Chevy sustained disabling damage and had to be towed. The vehicle that was struck in the parking lot was able to be driven from the scene.
