CRASH

LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 10/3/26 at 8:43am in the 700 block of South Broad Street.  A motorcyclist was waiting to exit a parking lot when a motorist stopped to let him cross.  When he entered the traffic, the motorcyclist was hit by a Ford pick-up that was entering the turning lane and did not have a chance to stop. 

The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.  Both the truck and motorcycle were towed from the scene.

The driver of the motorcycle was cited for failing to yield right-of-way when entering or crossing a roadway.
