LITITZ BOROUGH - On 01/12/2026 at approximately 10:53 AM, Lititz Borough Police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of North Cedar Street for a tree branch that was blocking the roadway. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the driver of a trash truck who stated that the top of his truck had sheared off a large limb causing it to fall into the roadway. Additionally, the remaining portion of the tree was leaning on utility wires, requiring an immediate response from PPL. Lititz Borough Public Works also responded to remove the tree limb and debris. There were no reported injuries.
