LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash involving a bicyclist which occurred on 10/25/2021 around 7:46 AM at the intersection of West Orange Street (SR0772) and Campus Drive.

The crash occurred when a bicycle, rode by a 15 year-old juvenile, attempted to ride across the intersection, but failed to yield to the right-of-way of traffic which began moving on West Orange Street after the traffic signal turned green. The juvenile bicyclist struck the side of a moving vehicle, driven by Jennifer L. HUTCHINSON, age 36, of Lititz. The juvenile was evaluated on-scene by EMS but was not transported to a hospital. HUTCHINSON was not injured. The juvenile is not being identified due to their age.
