ARREST - Domestic Violence

LITITZ BOROUGH - The Lititz Borough Police Department filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Ryman SCHLACK, age 37, of Lititz, alleging he committed the crime of Domestic Violence - Strangulation and Simple Assault.  On 8/26/26, at approximately 12:48 pm, Lititz Borough Police officers were requested to respond to station to talk with the victim. 

After speaking with the victim, officers went to SCHLACK'S home and eventually brought him back to station.   Once inside the LBPD, SCHLACK requested to be seen by EMS due to open wounds on his arms.  EMS arrived on scene and transported SCHLACK to Lancaster General Hospital.  After SCHLACK was medically treated and cleared, he was handcuffed and transported to Lancaster County Prison.  SCHLACK was taken for an immediate preliminary arraignment and committed to Lancaster County Prison.  A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
