LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Edwin D. ROSARIO CALIZ, age 40, of Lancaster, alleging he committed the crimes of Altered, Forged, or Conterfeit Documents and plates, and Trademark Counterfeiting.

On July 21, 2025, at approximately 5:25 PM, an LBPD officer observed a vehicle traveling on South Broad Street displaying inspection and emissions certificates that did not appear to have the same reflective qualities as authentic certificates. The officer then initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and upon closer inspection, observed that the certificates showed numerous signs of counterfeiting. 

ROSARIO CALIZ has been summoned to respond to District Court for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.

ROSARIO CALIZ is presumed innocent.
