LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Shawn KREIDER, age 44, of Lancaster, PA alleging he committed the crime of Driving Under the Influence.

On 8/28/26 around 10:30 pm, an officer initiated a traffic stop after observing the rear taillights were not illuminated between the hours of sunset and sunrise on KREIDER'S vehicle. During the stop, KREIDER exhibited signs of impairment and was requested to perform field sobriety testing.  KREIDER was subsequently transported to LBPD for the purpose of determining the amount of alcohol.   He has been summoned to respond to District Court for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.

KREIDER is presumed innocent.
