LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Michael M. HANNA, age 53, of Lititz, alleging he committed the crime of Strangulation and 3 other charges. On 03/14/2026 at approximately 6:00 pm, LBPD responded to the first block of East Lincoln Avenue for a domestic in progress. Officers spoke with the victim who reported that an argument turned physical and HANNA grabbed the victim's neck, making it difficult to breath. HANNA left the scene before police arrival and was apprehended shortly thereafter by another police agency. HANNA's vehicle was found with counterfeit inspection stickers and an open container of alcohol in the back seat. HANNA also had a folded-up dollar bill with a powdery substance, which he stated was most likely methamphetamine. 

HANNA was transported to Lancaster County Prison for immediate preliminary arraignment. A preliminary hearing is to be scheduled.

HANNA is presumed innocent.
