LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Kenneth R. HACKMAN, age 64, of Lititz, alleging he committed the crime of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (Highest Rate), Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Following Diversion and (1) Summary Traffic violation.
On 04/18/2026 at around 1:34 AM, an LBPD officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that did not have its lights illuminated at night, was driving on the double yellow line, and was drifting in the lane. When contact was made with the driver, identified as HACKMAN, the officer could smell the odor of alcohol emitting from his breath and observed the appearance of watery, bloodshot eyes. HACKMAN performed field sobriety testing which showed validated clues of impairment. HACKMAN then consented to a chemical test of his breath which showed a 0.166% BAC.
HACKMAN has been summoned to respond to District Court for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.
HACKMAN is presumed innocent.
