LITITZ BOROUGH - The Lititz Borough Police Department filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Dean M. GREENLY, age 51, of Lititz alleging he committed the crimes of Strangulation and Simple Assault/Domestic Violence.

On 10/04/2026 at approximately 5:42 pm, LBPD officers were dispatched to the 200 block of North Elm Street for a domestic incident that had just occurred. On scene, GREENLY stated that he and the victim had an argument and she left the residence. Phone contact was made with the Victim who stated that GREENLY had punched her on the side of the face, knocked her head against the wall, threw hot wax at her, and choked her from behind by wrapping his arm around her neck. A friend of the Victim, who had called 911 on her behalf, spoke with police on the phone and said she had just seen the Victim and observed wax all over her clothing, red marks around her neck, and a bruise around her eye.

GREENLY was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Central Booking for an immediate preliminary arraignment. He was committed to Lancaster County Prison on $30,000 bail. A Preliminary hearing will be scheduled.

GREENLY is presumed innocent.
