LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Jared R. ELMER, age 39, of Lititz, alleging he committed the crime of Simple Assault. 

On 6/17/2026 at 11:25 PM, the LBPD was dispatched to the 100 block of West Orange Street for a domestic dispute in progress. On scene, both ELMER and the victim reported that a verbal argument turned physical. The victim reported being thrown to the ground by ELMER, causing an abrasion on her ankle along with shoulder and back pain. 

ELMER was taken to Lancaster County Central Booking for immediate preliminary arraignment. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.

ELMER is presumed innocent.
