LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a Summary Non-Traffic citation against Jeremy D. CROUSE, age 49, of Columbia, alleging he committed the crime of Retail Theft.

On February 6, 2026, LBPD officers received a report of retail theft at Weis Market on South Broad Street. Upon arrival, the store security officer explained that CROUSE was viewed on video footage entering Weis, placing items in his cart, then attempting to return the items at customer service. When CROUSE was denied the return, he left the store with the items, without paying for them. The stolen merchandise totaled $142.74.

CROUSE has been summoned to respond to District Court.

CROUSE is presumed innocent.
