LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Danielle L. BALDWIN, age 47, of Lititz, alleging she committed the crime of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and failing to use a turn signal.

On 6/24/2026 at approximately 11:20 pm, an LBPD officer observed a vehicle driving at an abnormally slow rate of speed on North Broad Street, then turn left onto East Main Street without using a turn signal. The officer initiated a traffic stop and, upon making contact with the driver, identified as BALDWIN, noticed a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from her person. BALDWIN also had slurred speech, watery, glassy eyes, and was unsteady on her feet. BALDWIN was requested to perform field sobriety testing but refused to cooperate. The officer also attempted to perform a preliminary breath test, but BALDWIN refused. BALDWIN also refused to submit to a chemical test of her breath after being transported to the Lititz Borough Police Department. 

BALDWIN has been summoned to respond to District Court for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.

BALDWIN is presumed innocent.
