LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Amber ANDERSON, age 39, of Lititz, PA alleging she committed the crime of Driving Under the Influence.

On 3/8/26 at around 5:47 pm, LBPD was dispatched to an accident that happened while ANDERSON was parallel parking on N Liberty Street.  As ANDERSON was parking, she struck another vehicle then fled the scene by foot according to witnesses.  The officer approached the defendant on her porch and could smell a strong odor of alcohol.  ANDERSON also exhibited signs of impairment and was requested to perform field sobriety testing. ANDERSON was subsequently transported to LBPD for the purpose of determining the amount of alcohol.   She has been summoned to respond to District Court for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.

ANDERSON is presumed innocent.
