The Lancaster Township Police Department is partnering with the School District of Lancaster and Burrowes Elementary to increase safety for all students during morning drop‑off and afternoon pick‑up.  👮‍♂️

Burrowes Elementary has shared several important reminders for parents and caregivers. Please follow the instructions provided by school administration:

• Do not park on the cemetery side of Ranck Avenue. Parking there narrows the roadway and requires children to cross traffic during the busiest times of day. 🚫

• When leaving the school driveway, turning right is strongly encouraged. Turning left is extremely difficult and causes delays.

• In the drop‑off loop, pull all the way forward into the unloading/loading zone marked by double orange cones. 

• Please remain in your vehicle while using the loop.

• If you prefer to park and walk your child to the building, use E. Orange Street or the old building side of Ranck Avenue. The cemetery side is posted No Parking. 🅿️
