We cannot say for certain whether Dante Brown follows the Lancaster Township Police Department on social media. However, if he does, he likely knows that our officers are committed to locating wanted individuals and ensuring they are brought to justice.
Perhaps that commitment played a role on September 4, 2026, at approximately 10:42 p.m., when Dante Brown contacted Lancaster County-Wide Communications via 911 and reported that he had an active warrant for absconding from state parole.
Brown, who is currently on state parole for Criminal Homicide, advised dispatchers of his location in the first block of Cold Stream Drive. Lancaster Township Police officers responded and located Brown seated on the front porch of a residence.
Brown was taken into custody without incident and subsequently transferred to Pennsylvania State Parole agents for further processing.
The Lancaster Township Police Department remains committed to apprehending wanted individuals and working with our law enforcement partners to keep our community safe.
