Community Camera Registration Program

The Lancaster Township Police Department is launching a Community Camera Registration Program to enhance our collaborative efforts with the community in preventing and solving crimes.

As a business or resident with a surveillance camera system, we invite you to register your camera with our department. By doing so, you can play a vital role in helping us solve crimes and keep our community safe.

It's essential to note that registering your camera with us does not grant the Lancaster Township Police Department direct access to your camera. Your privacy is respected, and we will only request access to footage on a voluntary basis in the event of a crime.

Having access to video evidence following a crime can significantly increase the chances of solving the case. By registering your camera, you can help us:

• Identify suspects and solve crimes more efficiently
• Enhance public safety and reduce crime in our community
