The Lancaster Township Police Department is proud to share information about the 15th Annual Back to School Event, taking place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Penn Medicine Park.

This special event is open to K-8th grade students who reside within the School District of Lancaster, Manheim Township School District, Hempfield School District, and Penn Manor School District. Registration is required.

Families can enjoy an afternoon filled with: 

✅ Free haircuts for children
✅ Food and music
✅ Games and community activities
✅ Information on state programs and services available for children and families

Registration will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, with activities continuing until 4:00 PM.

This annual event is hosted by Rep. Nikki Rivera and Rep. Ismail Smith-Wade-El, who continue to support local students and families as they prepare for a successful school year.
