LANCASTER TOWNSHIP, PA - The Lancaster Township Police Department has charged Kadeem Aaron Pierre, 26, of Philadelphia, in connection with a bank fraud investigation involving a Lancaster Township resident.
Police began investigating in July after the victim reported that his bank account and debit card information had been compromised after Pierre was able to spoof a corporate bank phone number and impersonate a bank employee. Investigators determined that the stolen account information was used to make numerous unauthorized purchases and transfers totaling more than $8,000, including repeated purchases at Apple, Alo, Portabella and other retail stores in the Philadelphia region.
On August 14, 2026, Pierre was taken into custody by the Lower Merion Township Police Department after leaving the Apple Store in Ardmore. He has been charged by Lancaster Township Police with Identity Theft, Access Device Fraud, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Theft by Deception, Receiving Stolen Property, and other crimes.
The investigation remains ongoing as there are more suspected victims.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
