On June 25, 2026, the Lancaster Township Police Department responded to the 100 block of Dickens Drive in the Hawthorne Gardens community for a reported theft. Officers learned that during an apartment renovation, kitchen appliances had been temporarily placed on the patio. During this time, the refrigerator was stolen.

Security camera footage shows an unknown Black male operating a silver GMC pickup truck. The individual backed the truck up to the patio, loaded the refrigerator into the truck bed, and left the area.
