On April 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., the Lancaster Township Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle operating without a license plate in the 1200 block of Millersville Pike. The operator, Jaydavin Sok-Sengsouvanh, attempted to flee from the traffic stop and subsequently engaged in a physical altercation with police. Sok-Sengsouvanh then fled on foot before ultimately being apprehended. It was later determined that the motorcycle was unregistered and that Sok-Sengsouvanh was operating the vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended.
Jaydavin Sok-Sengsouvanh was charged with one count of fleeing and eluding, one count of evading arrest on foot, one count of resisting arrest, one count of driving with a suspended license, one count of operating an unregistered vehicle, one count of driving without a license, one count of operating a vehicle without a valid inspection, and one count of reckless driving. He was subsequently incarcerated in Lancaster County Prison on $20,000 straight cash bail.
A preliminary hearing in this matter is scheduled before the Honorable Mary Mongiovi Sponaugle of Magisterial District Court 02-2-03, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
All charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
