Retail Theft Arrest at Weis Markets

Lancaster Township, PA — On September 4, 2026, at approximately 8:18 a.m., officers from the Lancaster Township Police Department responded to Weis Markets, located at 1204 Millersville Pike, Lancaster Township, for a reported retail theft.

Upon arrival, officers were advised that store loss prevention personnel had detained an individual who allegedly exited the store with a case of beer without paying for the merchandise.

The individual was identified as Eugene A. Robinson, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Following an investigation, Robinson was charged with one count of Retail Theft (Misdemeanor of the 2nd Degree).

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for October 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. before the Honorable Mary Mongiovi-Sponaugle at Magisterial District Court 2-3-02, Lancaster County.
