On Friday, September 11, 2026, at approximately 12:53 p.m., officers from the Lancaster Township Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Columbia Avenue and North President Avenue after observing a vehicle commit a traffic violation.

During the stop, the vehicle's operator, identified as Alessander Duarte-Paula, became irate and interfered with the officers' ability to conduct the traffic stop. As a result, Duarte-Paula was taken into custody and charged with one (1) count of Obstructing Administration of Law.

The charge was filed before the Honorable Mary Mongiovi-Sponaugle of Magisterial District Court 02-2-03.
