Traffic Advisory: Middletown Road (Route 2003) in Dauphin County
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that field work is scheduled to take place this week on Middletown Road (Route 2003) in Dauphin County.
Geotechnical boring crews will conduct drilling operations in the roadway and shoulder embankment areas within the limits of the future Middletown Road Improvements project in Hummelstown Borough, and Derry and Londonderry townships.
Schedule: Weather permitting, the work will take place from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, starting Tuesday, January 20, and continuing through the week at various locations on Middletown Road between Willow Street in Hummelstown Borough to Swatara Creek Road (Route 2004) in Derry Township.
Traffic Impact: Motorists may experience single-lane restrictions, including flagging, lane shifts, and shoulder closures at select locations in both the northbound and southbound directions of Middletown Road during work hours.
