Derry Township Police Officers were dispatched to assist security personnel at Hersheypark at about 6:50 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026.  Security reported fights between groups of several teenagers inside the park, disrupting services for other patrons and posing safety concerns.  The quick response from Hersheypark Safety & Security and the Derry Township Police helped quell the fight(s).  2 juveniles and 1 adult were arrested by DTPD during the initial investigation, and others were ejected from the park. In addition to DTPD, Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police and officers from surrounding municipal police departments responded to support Hersheypark Security and officers from DTPD.  These incidents caused only minor interruptions of Hersheypark Operations, and they were able to return to normal operations quickly.  At this time, we are unaware of any injuries to the combatants or other patrons.  Our department will be reviewing information to identify additional combatants for possible charges.
