Traffic Advisory: Water Main Replacement Project on South Hills Drive and Timber Lane

Beginning the week of February 16, PA American Water will initiate a water main replacement project on South Hills Drive and Timber Lane. The construction will commence at the Timber Lane/Forest Avenue intersection and progress toward Hill Top.

During the project, motorists can expect single lane closures or partial road closures in the work zone area. Please be advised that typical working hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The project is anticipated to take approximately one month to complete, depending on field conditions. Temporary paving will be installed, with full-width paving to be completed as final restoration when weather permits.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution and travel safely through the work area, following all posted signs and directions.  Contractors will work with local residents so they may have access to their properties.  We appreciate your understanding and patience during the time it takes to complete the project.
