PennDOT is advising they will be closing Hershey Road (SR 39) from the intersection of East Canal Street to the intersection of Boathouse Road.  This will be to facilitate a crane positioned on the bridge over the Swatara Creek to aid in the removal of debris that has piled up under the bridge.  The closure will start at about 7:00 am on Monday, February 28th and will remain fully closed until Friday, March 4th, 2022.  Motorists who regularly use this route should plan for an alternate route of travel during that time period.
