The Derry Township Police Department is advising motorists that the annual Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Fall Meet will take place October 9^th, 10^th, 11^th and 12^th 2019.  Traffic will be extremely heavy beginning Tuesday, October 8th, through Saturday, October 12^th, especially on Hersheypark Drive (SR39), Park Boulevard, Park Avenue (SR743), Sandbeach Road, and North Hockersville Road. Motorists who normally use Park Boulevard are urged to take a different route during this time period.

Due to Fall Meet vendor traffic routing, the following temporary road closings and restrictions will be in effect:

• Boathouse Road - from 6:00PM Monday, October 7th through 5:00pm Saturday, October 12^th     
• North Hockersville Road from Old West Chocolate Avenue to Hersheypark Drive - from 11:00pm Friday October 11^th   through 6:00 PM Saturday October 12^th  .Detour signs for road closings will be posted in the areas affected and uniformed officers will control motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at key intersections and pedestrian crossings.

Drivers are urged to follow signs, allow for extra travel time through the area, and USE CAUTION due to TRAFFIC CONGESTION and PEDESTRIAN crossings.
